Obituary

William Lee Jeffers, born May 27th, 1942 in Cheyenne, Wyoming to William Albert Jeffers and Hazel Marjorie Jeffers, went home to be with Jesus on January 14, 2020, at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife Florene Mary Jeffers, his children, James Eugene Jeffers, Donavon Ray Jeffers and Juliene Marie Range. His grandchildren Daniel Jeffers, Memory Bostwick, Hannah Range and Johnathan Range. His great-grandchildren Sullivan Jeffers and Ethan Bostwick. And his younger brother Everett Lynn (Jeff) Jeffers.

Bill was raised, joined the Air National Guard, married and started his family in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In 1967, He moved the family to Anchorage, Alaska. After he was honorably discharged from the military, he went into the optical industry. After moving to southern California, he loved to drive everywhere so driving all over the western states to sale and service optical equipment suited him very well. He was also very active in his church, taking on the role of sound man and children's church coordinator.
In the early 80's, northern California became home so he could be closer to his parents and start another chapter in his life in mobile home park management. He advanced to Area District Manager and was able go back to his love of driving for work. In late 1990's, Bill and Flo settled in North Sacramento managing a senior mobile home park and again performing sound man duties in his church before retiring in 2011 to Toledo Bend, Texas.

In the summer of 2016, the plan was to spend winters in Yuma with their daughter and summers in Georgia with their son but unfortunately, they never made it to Georgia due to health issues.

Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle to family and friends that will miss him terribly but will celebrate the life he lived and remember fondly his wry, wonderful sense of humor.
