Tillie Marie Hammond age 34 passed away at Banner university hospital in phoenix Arizona with family by her side on April 27 2024.She was born on November 15 1989 in Yuma Arizona to Sharon Thomas and Alfonso Gregory Hammond the 3rd. She attended Orange grove elementary school, Somerton middle school then graduated to Kofa high school. She worked briefly at the Cocopah community center. She loved to cook and read books and play video games and spend time with her family she was a good loving person with a good heart and a great mother to her kids. Her favorite activity was dance choreography. She loved horror movies. Her favorite quote was "Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light."
She is survived by her mother Sharon Thomas her daughters Lily Marie Hammond and Brianna Leai Hammond her sister Shavone April Hammond her brothers Gabriel Joey Hammond and Gregory Alphonso Hammond and Uncles Luke Thomas, Calvin Taylor and Aunt Veronica Thomas numerous aunts and uncles and cousins She is preceded in death by her father Alphonso Hammond the 3rd her uncle Kim Hammond her aunt Theresa Thomas her grandparents Ronnie bear Thomas and Virginia white and Alphonso butch Hammond and Irene slim
Service and viewing on Monday may 6th at Desert valley mortuary from 2pm to 4pm then services to follow to the east Cocopah reservation for tribal services at 5pm -5am with cremation at 4 am.
