Obituary

Steve Merino Jr., 70, of Yuma, AZ, passed away on Friday, May 23rd.  He was born on October, 24th, 1954 in Yuma, Arizona. A devoted Son to Steve and Yolanda Merino, he is also survived by his children Stephanie, Siprina, and Steven Merino, five Grandkids and four great grandkids, as well as brothers David and Joe Merino and their families.

Steve was a cherished son, brother, uncle and tata and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.  Steve was a loyal friend always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it and will always be remembered for his generosity.

He spent several years participating as a member of the Jaycees and worked the Silver Spur Rodeo during his "cowboy years". Steve lived life to the fullest and made many friends throughout the years. A lifetime joker, Steve loved to make his friends and family laugh. He was usually the center of attention.  He was an avid off-road enthusiast. He had a second home at Buttercup and Glamis Sand Dunes and spent many days throughout the years with his Father and brother and families during the holiday seasons.

A private celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks. The Merino family thanks all of you for your prayers and support.
