Yuma
Sheryn Kay Doyle (Klausmann), 73, of Yuma, Arizona died on January 7th, 2022 at The Yuma Regional Medical Center, after a month-long battle with the covid19 virus. The family is shocked and deeply saddened by her loss.
Sheryn was born on September 22nd, 1948 to Wendelin & Goldie (Hoosline) Klausmann in Osakis, Minnesota. Sheryn attended Osakis Public School.
Sheryn married James Charles Tauber in 1966 in Osakis Minnesota, united until 1974, and had 3 children (Thomas, Kerry, and Michelle). She worked cashier jobs and served as a Sunday school teacher at Osakis United Methodist Church.
Sheryn married US Navy recruiter Ben Allen Doyle in 1979, in Osakis Minnesota. She and her family moved to San Diego, California where Ben was stationed during his next tour of duty. Sheryn and children moved briefly to Maywood, Nebraska for a year 1984-1985, believing Ben would be retiring there after his last Pacific Tour. Ben chose to extend his enlistment in San Diego where Sheryn and daughter moved back to until Ben's retirement. Sheryn and Ben then lived in Cheyenne Wyoming until Ben's passing in 1999. Sheryn lived in Maywood, Nebraska for a period, becoming a member of The Maywood Christian Church. Sheryn then moved to Yuma, Arizona to be closer to her daughter's family where she resided until her passing.
In addition to her parents, Sheryn was preceded in death by her son Kerry Tauber, husband Ben Doyle, and brother Eugene Klausmann. Sheryn is survived by son Thomas and daughter Michelle. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Sheryn enjoyed making Christian crafts, such as yarn crosses for the wall and beaded items for a church in Yuma. Sheryn enjoyed socializing with friends. Anyone in a phone conversation with her, was in for a long informative engagement. She was a Christian and not afraid to tell the world. Sheryn was strong and feisty right up until her last earthly days. Sheryn's family and friends will miss her more than words can say.
There will be a graveside funeral service held at 11:00 AM, June 15th, 2022 at the Maywood Cemetery in Nebraska. Pastor Dale Heimer of The Maywood Christian Church will officiate the cremation burial. She will rest near her son and husband.
