Rosabel
Benitez
Oct 1, 1936 — Dec 3, 2025
Yuma
Rosabel Benitez, who passed peacefully early on December 3, 2025. Born on October 1, 1936, in Llano de los Rochin, Sinaloa, México, Rosabel lived a life marked by resilience, compassion, and deep devotion to those she loved.
On December 24, 1957, Rosabel married Sergio Benitez in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, México, beginning an enduring partnership. Together, they made the courageous decision to immigrate to the United States, where they built their home, raised their children, and spent 55 years creating a life shaped by dedication, love, and shared sacrifice.
Rosabel worked for many years at a Cleaners, where her steady presence, work ethic, and quiet kindness made her a valued part of the community. She carried herself with quiet grace.
The center of her world was her family. She poured her heart into motherhood and took pride in her growing family.
She is survived by her four loving children: Sergio Benitez, Rosa Galvan, Lourdes DeJesus, and German Benitez. She is also remembered with deep affection by her sons-in-law Ruben Galvan and Otoniel DeJesus Jr., and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Benitez, each of whom treasured the bond they shared with her.
Rosabel's legacy continues through her 13 grandchildren—Vanessa, Ruben, Hector, Denise, Victor, Marissa, Melissa, Ashley, Gabby, Sergio, Lucy, Taylor, and Anthony—and her 19 great-grandchildren. To them, she was more than a grandmother; she was a pillar of love, patience, and wisdom, a guiding light whose influence will continue through the generations. Family was Rosabel's life's work and greatest accomplishment. She will be remembered for her nurturing spirit, her strength in the face of challenges, and the unconditional love she offered so freely. Her gentle presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will forever remain a source of comfort and inspiration. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before
