Born in Leon, Guanajuato on June 9, 1935, he passed away at the age of 85 on March 6, 2021, he was the 6th of 8 brothers and 3 sisters. He came to the USA in 1962 and worked in a restaurant called El Torito in Los Angeles California, he then started going to night school. He came to Yuma,  Arizona where he worked at Chretin's from 1969 trough 1994. He also worked at Mi Rancho Restaurant  from 1995  through 1996, he then retired. He was an active member of Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church in Yuma. He lived with his wife until he passed away at their residents. He is survived by his partner Rosa R. Rivera and three daughters: Veronica D. Rivera, Rosario R. Inigues and Gabriela R. Dias, and 7 grandchildren: Gabriel A. Ruvalcaba, David J. Ruvalcaba, Gerardo R. Inigues, Fernanda R. Inigues, Andrea R. Dias, Angel, R. Dias, Damian R. Dias.

Raul love to dance, sing, read, write and travel, but his passion was cycling.
