Porfirio "Pilo" Carrillo Yanez, de 74 años, falleció en paz el 16 de junio de 2025 en Yuma, Arizona. Nacido en Riva Palacio, Chihuahua, México, Pilo vivió una vida llena de amor, disciplina y una fortaleza inquebrantable.

Fue un esposo amoroso durante 45 años junto a su esposa María Carrillo Yanez, y un padre entregado a sus hijos Paul Carrillo Yanez y George Daniel Yanez. Trabajó como capataz en Tanimura & Antle antes de convertirse en parapléjico en 1997. A pesar de los desafíos que enfrentó, siempre luchó con motivación, esfuerzo y esperanza.

Pilo disfrutaba coleccionar relojes Timex, asistir a sus terapias y pasar tiempo con su familia y sus perros Capitán y Precious. Era conocido por su inteligencia, especialmente en matemáticas, y por su espíritu resiliente.

Le sobreviven su esposa María y sus dos hijos. El memorial y celebración de vida se llevará a cabo el jueves 26 de junio de 2025, de 5:00 PM a 9:00 PM en Desert Valley Mortuary, 138 N Avenue B, Somerton, AZ 85350. Todos están cordialmente invitados a asistir.

Porfirio "Pilo" Carrillo Yanez, 74, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Yuma, Arizona. Born in Riva Palacio, Chihuahua, Mexico, Pilo lived a life filled with love, discipline, and unwavering strength.

He was a loving husband to Maria Carrillo Yanez for 45 years and a devoted father to Paul Carrillo Yanez and George Daniel Yanez. He worked as a foreman at Tanimura & Antle before becoming a paraplegic in 1997. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained a fighter—motivated, hardworking, and hopeful.

Pilo loved collecting Timex watches, attending therapy, and spending time with his family and dogs, Capitán and Precious. He was known for his sharp mind, especially in math, and his unbreakable spirit.

He is survived by his wife Maria and their two sons. A memorial and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Desert Valley Mortuary, 138 N Avenue B, Somerton, AZ 85350. All are welcome to attend.
