Michael "Mike" F. Decker
March 28, 1963 – July 8, 2026
Michael "Mike" F. Decker passed away unexpectedly in Yuma, Arizona. He was born on March 28, 1963, in Cherry Point, North Carolina, to Charles and Patricia Decker, who preceded him in death, along with his brother, Jeffrey Decker.
As the son of a United States Marine. Mike's childhood was filled with moves across the country as his father's military service took the family where they were needed. Those travels eventually brought the family to Yuma, Arizona, where Mike graduated from Kofa High School with the Class of 1981.
On September 4, 1982, Mike married the love of his life, Belinda Leal. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering commitment, sharing more than four decades of marriage.
Mike dedicated 42 years to the grocery industry, retiring as a Store Director. He was known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and the lasting relationships he built throughout his career.
Outside of work, Mike enjoyed spending time on the golf course, cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, and following NASCAR. He also found joy in caring for his faithful dog, Mercy, and his backyard chickens.
Above all else, Mike's greatest pride was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and an incredibly proud grandfather. His greatest accomplishment was raising his children with love, faith, and values that they now pass on to the next generation. Nothing brought him more happiness than watching his family grow and creating lasting memories with his grandchildren.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of over 43 years, Belinda Decker; his daughter, Alicia Bathrick (Jay); his sons, Justin Decker, and Scott Decker; and his cherished grandchildren, Ariana, Charles, and Isabelle Decker, and Logan, Connor, Kira, Owen, Bennett, and Naomi Bathrick.
Mike will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, sense of humor, dedication to his family, and the love he freely gave to those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he treasured and the countless lives he touched.
