Marlene Leota Throne

September 2, 1952 – March 26, 2021

Marlene Leota Throne, 68, passed away peacefully at home with her sons by side on March 26, 2021.  She fought a courageous fight against cancer, always with a smile.

Marlene was born in Yuma, Arizona on September 2, 1952 to the late Cecil and Mary Louise (Rutledge) Throne who were original Yuma homesteaders.  She retired from Yuma Regional Medical Center in 2015.

She is survived by her three sons, Seth (Teri) Taylor and their children Alina and Luke; Buster Taylor and his son Clayton;  Caleb (Alisha) Taylor and their children Ella and Laiken;  her brother, James (Judy) Throne.  Also surviving are her nieces Jessica and Rhonda, and nephews Jameson and John.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Susan Haynes.
