Mark J.
Croft
Apr 3, 1951 — Dec 14, 2024
Yuma
Born on April 3, 1951 in Walla Walla, Washington. Mark discovered his love for golf later on in life, a love that would grow into a lifelong career of teaching and mentoring. For over 30 years, he dedicated himself to sharing the game with players of all ages and skill levels, instilling not only technical skills but also values of patience, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Mark was a community pillar, organizing golf clinics, tournaments, and events that brought people together. He believed golf was more than a sport—it was a way to build connections and foster a sense of belonging.
More than a coach, Mark was a family man at heart. As a loving father and grandfather, he cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, teaching them life lessons, supporting their dreams, and sharing his love of golf. Mark built a legacy of love and devotion to his family.
Mark is survived by Gabriela, his children and countless friends, students, and colleagues who were touched by his guidance and encouragement.
A devoted teacher, mentor, and friend, Mark left an indelible imprint on his community and the PGA through his unwavering passion for golf and his commitment to helping others grow, both on and off the course. Though he is no longer with us, Marks impact will be felt for generations to come, both in the hearts of those who knew him and in every perfect swing on the course.
