Maria Teresa was born on August 20, 1944, in Tuxpan Nayarit to her mother Graciela Jimenez ♱. She was one of five children, Manuel Estrada♱, Cuca Estrada♱,Lupe Estrada, and Leticia Jimenez. Tere married her husband Pedro Curiel♱ at the age of 18. Together they had five children, Reynaldo, Arturo, Malena, Rafael, and Gerardo. Maria Teresa was one of the founders of the church, San Judas Tadeo in San Luis Az.

Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
