It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Gutierrez of San Luis, Arizona. Maria passed away at the age of 85 on Sunday, March 22,2026. She was born
On October 25, 1940 in  Guayaquil, Ecuador to Marcos Moreira and Maria Pareja.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, George Gutierrez, children-Andy and Martha, and stepchildren-Georgie and Rachel, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Yolanda of Panama and brother Marcos of Costa Rica.

Maria found joy in jewelry making and cherished spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, whom affectionately referred to her as "LaLa."

Her passing will be deeply felt, and may she find eternal peace.
