Margarita S. Carbajal

Margarita was born in Costa Rica, Sinaloa, Mexico on February 22, 1955. She moved to Somerton, AZ in 1980 where she created a loving home for all that needed one. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jorge and her children, Maggie (Tim), grandchildren: Alondra, Nayeli and Alejandro of Flagstaff, AZ, Jorge (Clarisbel) grandchildren: Layla, Kenya and Emily of Somerton, AZ and Nancy (Michael) of Flagstaff, AZ. She left this earth surrounded by her family on September 11, 2022 in Flagstaff, AZ, after a long battle with many illnesses.

Margarita loved children, cooking, dancing and being the life of the party. She spent many years taking care of children in her home and then went on to work as a cook and fed the children of Somerton in all of the elementary schools until her retirement in 1999. Her home was always a place filled with kids and provided a loving place to many. She loved having a large family that was always present.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Cruz Sanchez-Moya and Isidro Sanchez and her brothers, Angel, Jose Jesus and Isidro Jr. She will be joining her best friend and sister-in-law Estela in heaven. May she forever Rest In Peace.
