Obituary

Luis Manuel Acosta was born in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora on December 2, 1969 to José Manuel Acosta and Dora Ruiz.  He passed away unexpectedly on April 16, 2021 when the Lord called upon him to join his beloved brother Aaron.  Luis was surrounded by his loving parents and siblings when he took his last breath.  He is survived by his parents, four siblings, Claudia (Eduardo), Nora (Fabian), Eyra and Isaac (Christina), and his nieces and nephews, Alexa (Juan), Adrian, Andre, Manuel, Isabella, Natalie, and Christian.

Luis was the first in many ways; first-born, first grandchild, first nephew and first to make everyone proud. His smile was so beautiful and contagious that it made everyone smile followed right after with a fun and loud laughter.  Luis had many friends because he was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone in need.  He was selfless when it came to giving a helping hand.  Luis enjoyed drawing, writing, working on odd jobs, and playing his guitar.  In his younger years, Luis was a great athlete as a baseball player, body builder, and wrestler.  Also, many tell the tale of his undefeated arm wrestling.  If you were around Luis, also known by close friends as "Squakit", you would not save yourself from having a nickname, which he had a habit of christening you whether you knew it or not.  But, above all, Luis was a loving older brother.
