James Kent Cuming, 59, passed away on December 19 ^th surrounded by his loved ones in Mesa, AZ. Kent was born and raised in Gadsden, AZ. As an adult, he continued to live in the Yuma valley where he worked in the farming industry. He enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, boating, cooking, and working on various home "projects". He is survived by his parents James "Jim" and Judy Cuming, sister Debra (Dave) Freyer, wife Rebecca "Becky" Rios and her children, son Collin (Yescina) Cuming, daughter Chelcie (Zachary) Higley, two grandsons, Cole Cuming and Collin Cuming Jr., as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kent was a kind and loving man and will be missed by many. An open memorial service will be held in the chapel at Desert Valley Mortuary in Somerton, AZ on January 4, 2022, at 0930. A private celebration of life for close friends and family will follow.
