Our beautiful Karri has been taken from us, but the love we have for her will not end with her death. Karrissa left this world on February 5, 2023 at 29 years of age. Karrissa was born on April 17, 1993 to Sylvia Duran (Hamilton). Being the first granddaughter and niece, she was the life and joy of the Duran family. Our world revolved around her. She was eventually joined by nine more cousins whom she became the boss of. In 2020 everything changed when she gave birth to the "new boss," her sweet baby boy, Kyrie.
Karrissa was a great role model for her cousins. She went on to pursue an associates degree at AWC, a bachelor in criminal administration at NAU, and a bachelor in sports journalism at ASU.
Karrissa was a quiet person, but when she did have something to say, she did not hold back. She also had a witty sense of humor. When she wasn't spending time with her first cousins, she was spending time with her second cousins in Phoenix, whom she also adored.
Karrissa is survived by: her son, Kyrie Hamilton; mother, Sylvia Hamilton; step-father, Bryant Hamilton; grandparents, Juan and Martha Duran; aunts, Patty Brienza (Tim) and Julia Rios (Anselmo); uncles, Juan Duran (Lorena) and Esteban Duran (Keila) and her cousins, Carmelita, Juan Jr., Clemente, Camila, Gaby, Jesse, Sophia, Valentina, Sebastian, and the recent addition and named in her honor, Ezekiel Daniel.
You will FOREVER REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS. We love you "millions."
