Joseph Ramon Sandate

Joseph, age 59, passed away at YRMC on February 21, 2022. Joseph was born in Yuma, AZ, to Joe and Carmel Sandate on April 7, 1962.

Joseph attended local schools in Yuma, Arizona, and graduated from Kofa High School in 1981. Joseph worked in Yuma, Arizona, and Salinas, California as a mechanic for various companies.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Robert J. Holman.

Joseph loved family and enjoyed spending time with family any time he could. He leaves behind sisters Yolanda Sandate, Viola Dague (Ron), Olivia Wilson (Dan), all of Yuma, and brother Anthony Sandate (Kim Takacs) Marina, CA. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews to share memories of him.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Sandate, Ron Dague, Dan Wilson, Robert Holman, Richard Holman, and Joshua Kephart

Visitation will be at Desert Valley Mortuary on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 5 pm to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.

Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 1:30 pm at St. Francis of Assisi Church.

A Celebration of Life gathering will follow the mass in the East Wing of the Yuma Civic and Convention Center from 3 pm to 6 pm.
