Joel Ora Womack Sr. passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the age of 53, in Yuma, Arizona with Heidi, his wife, the love of his life by his side.

He was born to Douglas and Linda Womack on January 23, 1969, in Brawley, California.

Joel played high school football and continued his love for the game by becoming a passionate Raider fan.  Joel had a passion for cooking and created delicious meals for his family. He could make you laugh with his larger-than-life storytelling and would easily capture your ears and heart with his vocal rendition, of "Shallow." A favorite past-time he shared with his beautiful wife, Heidi.

Joel was an incredible father and mourned the loss of his first-born Felicia affectionately, known as "Flee" on May 2, 2012. His legacy on this side of eternity will live on through his living children, Olivia, Caleb, Joel Jr., Victor, Isaiah and Jypsea Womack.

He is survived by his siblings, Christopher, Joshua, Chasie, and Elizabeth along with his half-siblings, Zachary, Nicholas, Lindsey, Hayley, and Elisha.

Joel will be honored in a celebration of life on May 1, 2022 at 12:30 PM – sunset located at El Monte Park (area #3) in Lakeside, California, with an ash burial to take place at a later date.
