Jacinto Aguirre, 71, loved gardening and had a passion for softball. He would umpire for the City of Yuma for over 20 years. Jacinto peacefully passed away Friday, June 12, 2020, surrounded by family.

After graduating from Yuma High School, 1967, Jacinto made a career at the University of Arizona Experimental Farm for over 20 years. He gained knowledge of agriculture and applied it in his garden until his last minutes.

Jacinto was a kind, caring man who we will always love deeply. He is survived by his wife Petra Aguirre of 51 years; his children Jacinto Aguirre Jr., Benigno Aguirre, Annette Guerra, Francisco Aguirre, Michelle Vasquez, Erick Aguirre, and Maria Molina; 47 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; his 4 sisters; his 5 brothers and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and longtime friends.

Jacinto was also blessed with many enduring friendships that he cultivated through life.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 10:00AM at 8415 S. Pima Ln. Yuma, AZ 85364
