Isabel
Rodriguez
Jul 2, 1947 — Jun 23, 2021
Yuma
Isabel was the daughter of Maria and Catarino Rodriguez. She was born in San Luis RC Mex. on July 2, 1947. She was the 4th of 6 children (Estela, Ernesto, Elvia, Roberto, and Rosita) from Maria and Catarino and 8th of a total of 10 siblings (Dolores "Lolita", Alfredo "Yuni", David, and Silvia). She lived and was raised in Lejido Islita in the outskirts of San Luis RC Mex. During her childhood she went to school with the nuns in Guadalajara Mexico, as a teen. She then moved to Riverside CA with her parents and siblings as a young adult. There she worked for the citrus packing company and in "La Vidriera", making windows for commercial and residential use. She had one son, Juan P. Ortiz and raised him on her own.
Isabel loved to dance and listen to music from Los Apson like, "Fue en un Cafe," and Los Teen Tops "La Plaga", she also enjoyed music from Mama's and the Papa's, Los Caminantes, and Los Bukis. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She had much love to give to everyone, a lot like her father Catarino a humble and caring man. But, she was also a feisty one like her mother Maria Rodriguez
She finally found a man that made her happy, who was humble like she was. She married Francisco Aguirre and he was her companion for 20 years.
I thank you for everything you did for me mom, the love you gave me, and the unconditional love for your grandkids. Thank you for showing me how to be a good, hard working man. I will miss every single thing about you mom. We love you!
