Hector Aguilar JR, 42, gained his angel wings to fly freely and pain free on October 7, 2020 in Yuma, Arizona, after a long battle with cancer. Hector was born July 18, 1978 in Grants, New Mexico to Hector SR and Priscilla Aguilar.

Hector was a proud business owner of H & L Electric. Hector was a hard worker and took pride in his work.

Hector is survived by his daughter Giselle Alexis, parents Hector SR and Priscilla, brothers Paul and Humberto, sister Maribel, nephews Paul Jose, Adrian, Jesus, Pablo, Rodrigo Aguilar and Alejandro Aguayo. Nieces Julie and Lynette Aguilar and Adamari Membreno. One great niece Veronize Priscilla Aguilar.

Hector was a great man, with a huge heart and had a great passion for horses, trucks and Spanish music. Hector was truly loved by many, was always helping others in any way he could and was admired by everyone. His laugh, sarcasm and smile was contagious.

Hector will be missed, but will live in our hearts for an eternity.

Wake and Rosary will be held on Wednesday October 14, 2020 from 5-9 pm at Desert Valley Mortuary with a rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held Thursday October 15,2020 at 9 am at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Hector Sr, Paul, Paul Jose, Adrian and Jesus Aguilar and Alejandro Aguayo. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Reyes, Paul Maytum, Jaime Gomez, Jesus Ontiveros, Raul Garcia and Nicolas Valenzuela.

Our family wishes to  thank all those who played a tremendous role through out Hector's journey, especially Southwest Oncology, Yuma Regional Medical Center, Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, City of Somerton Emergency Medical Services and the many friends and family who prayed, provided meals and would never fail to check in on us, you all are appreciated.
