Ernesto Lugo passed away on July 19, 2020, peacefully at his home in Somerton at age 73. Ernesto was a long-time Somerton area resident who worked in agriculture and as a truck driver. He was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend to so many. He loved music, the outdoors, sports, and spending time with his grandkids. He often played the guitar and sang with his wife and his kids. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Jesus (Loya) and Felipe Lugo as well as brothers, Miguel Angel, Victor Manuel and Sergio. He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Amelia and children: Raquel (Dario Hernandez), Ernesto (Margarita Encinas),  Liliana, Edna and Daniel (Mary De Lua), and 6 grandchildren. He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary  Church where he attended Mass regularly and participated in other church activities. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Don Ernesto.

Ernesto Lugo falleció el 19 de julio de 2020, en su casa en Somerton a la edad de 73 años. Ernesto era un residente del área de Somerton por muchos años que trabajó en la agricultura y como chofer de tracto-camiones. Fue un hijo, hermano, esposo, padre, abuelo muy amoroso y cariñoso y buen amigo para muchos. Le encantaba la música, salir de paseo, los deportes y pasar tiempo con sus nietos.  Le gustaba tocar la guitarra y cantar con su esposa y sus hijos.  Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, María Jesús (Loya) y Felipe Lugo, así como sus hermanos, Miguel Ángel, Víctor Manuel y Sergio. Le sobrevive su esposa de 51 años, Amelia e hijos: Raquel (Dario Hernandez), Ernesto (Margarita Encinas), Liliana, Edna y Daniel (Mary De Lua), y 6 nietos. Fue miembro de la Iglesia del Inmaculado Corazón de María, donde asistió a misa regularmente y participó en otras actividades de la iglesia.  Se le extrañará mucho. Descansa en paz, Don Ernesto.
