It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister in life and in faith, Elvira Serrano Guerrero on Friday, September 17, 2021. It was among her last wishes to make Arizona her final resting place and to be surrounded by loved ones, where we had the privilege of being by her side in her last moments.

Born Elvira Serrano Nuñez in Tlaltenango, Zacatecas, Mexico on July 19, 1938, Elvira was the eldest surviving child of Maurilio Serrano and Nicolasa Nuñez. She married Felix Olmos at the age of 25 and lived in Yuma, AZ until his passing. She was a loving mother to their son, Francisco Javier Olmos.

She later moved to California and married her surviving husband Reynaldo Guerrero Lopez.

She is survived by her loving siblings; Silvano (Cira), Irene, Emigdio (Mary), Maximo (Eliza), as well as her husband Reynaldo, son Francisco and twelve nephews and nieces.

She is remembered most by her generosity, love for her family and friends, and strong, enduring faith. Her greatest joy was to share that faith and hope with others.

Funeral Services will be held virtually.
