It is with a mixture of a heavy weight in our hearts and a rejoice for his union with Christ in heaven that we announce the passing of Daniel (Danny) Padilla. Danny was a shining light. He was pure love, he had an adventurous heart, and he spread joy wherever he went. Danny passed on September 26, 2021. Danny passed soon after completing a 10-mile run in preparation for a marathon. He died doing what he loved and with the love of his life.

Accompanied by his wife Flor Viridiana Padilla, he was able to spend his last few moments on this earth with her sharing the joy of running together. He has two beautiful children (Emily Marie, and Daniel Leo-Kai) who already possess many of his qualities and virtues and will surely continue Danny's work of love on this earth.

Danny is reuniting with his mother Maria Leyva Padilla, and we know his spirit continues with us. His smile is immortal, and the legacy of his love will continue. Danny has touched the lives of so many, and every life he touched he filled with nothing but love and joy.

"Faith is the daring of the soul to go farther than it can see."

His wife Viridiana, and brothers and sisters Mike Padilla, Beatrice Padilla, Ela Padilla, Alba Culley, and family will be gathering to bid him farewell until we are fortunate enough to meet again. Please join the family on the following dates:
