Daniel Alonzo
Marquez
Jun 20, 1984 — Feb 25, 2025
Yuma
A devoted husband and loving father passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025 at the age of 40 surrounded by his loving family and friends, after a courageous fight with Esophageal Cancer. He was born on June 20, 1984 in Yuma Az, to his parents Emilio and Blanca Marquez. His brothers Joel, John, Steven and Chris Marquez.
Throughout his journey in life, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Driving his pride and joy Razor that he custom built himself, watching Football and Baseball(Go Giants), grilling, making lasting memories with those he loved and celebrating every beautiful moment in life.
He became an industrial mechanic for Toyota in Salinas, California where he met many wonderful people who became more than friends to him, they were his family. Anyone who knew Daniel would tell you what a hard worker he was. He was the kind of person you could call up at three in the morning and he would answer without hesitation. Always willing to help, he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. Always making jokes and making peoples days brighter.
Destiny later introduced Daniel and Stephanie where he commenced a courtship. He moved his whole life back to Yuma and began working at Quinn. Daniel and his Wife Stephanie united with all their love welcomed their baby girl into the world in March of 2022 and founded the family he always wished for. Alexandra Marquez is his moon and stars. His life was complete. They loved going to family events together and watching their daughter complete every mile stone. Daniel was specially thrilled when his daughter's first word was "dada", and not so much when she learned to say "No". Daniel and his wife loved date nights and off-roading together, except when his wife drove. Daniel enjoyed his wife's cooking and always looked forward to his Aunt Narcy's rice at family events.
He is survived by his Wife Stephanie, his daughter Alexandra Marquez and his parents Emilio and Blanca Marquez as well his brothers Joel, John, Steven and Chris Marquez.
His warmth, kindness and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed forever and remembered by all who knew him.
