Christopher Devon Pelfrey, 19, of Wellton, AZ died in a car accident in Maricopa, AZ on March 11th, 2021. He was born January 22nd, 2002 in Yuma, AZ. He graduated from Antelope Union High School in 2020, where he was a member of the student council, FFA, the football team, wrestling team and baseball team.

He is survived by his paternal grandparents, Don and Hallie Pelfrey, his maternal grandparents, Andrew Ennis and Joy Wood and his father, Donald Pelfrey and mother, Christina Ennis and siblings Taylor, Dustyn, Trent, Lindsey, Cambria, Dani, Paxton, Ashton, Brody, Vander and Emma. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Alexa Garcia Leon of Wellton, his close friends and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Desert Valley Mortuary. The viewing will be held at First Southern Baptist Church of Wellton Church on Friday, March 26th, 3pm-5pm for family and close friends, and open to the public 5pm-9pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 11am on the Antelope Union High School Football Field. The burial will be at the Wellton Cemetery at 1pm. A celebration of Chris's life will be held at the Antelope Union High School Cafeteria at 2pm.
