Carlos
Gonzalez
Sep 21, 1977 — Nov 20, 2022
Somerton
Dear Family & Friends,
It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Carlos González, 45, of Yuma, Arizona on November 20, 2022, after a fatal car accident.
Carlos González was born on September 21, 1977, in Salinas, California, attended Speckles Elementary, Natividad Elementary, Alisal Elementary School, and Washington Middle School before moving to Yuma, AZ in October of 1991. Carlos graduated from O.L. Carlisle Junior High School and attended Cibola High School.
Although Carlos was born in California (first-generation American) and lived most of his life in Arizona, he was very proud of his Mexican roots as both of his parents immigrated to the United States from Michoacán, Mexico.
Carlos worked in construction for a number of years. His work background and knowledge in this field consisted of residential and commercial contracting, allowing him many travel opportunities and experience in out-of-state work projects in Mississippi and Arkansas. Carlos was a hard worker and took pride in his profession. He was currently employed through D.D. Enterprises, working in commercial/ industrial electrical contracting. These are memories he prided on and a memory we will continue for him.
Carlos González is survived by his parents, Sara Valdovinos, Francisco J. González, his daughters Briana González, and Liliana González, granddaughters, Azelia Alvarez and Alana González, two brothers; Ermes González, Sergio González, and four sisters, Veronica González, Marisol G. Garibay, Sara G. Sambula, and Sandra G. Alejo, along with nieces, nephews, and many friends and family. He is preceded in death by his brother, Jorge González.
On behalf of his daughters: I, Briana and Liliana, ask for your continuous prayers so our dad can rest in peace. Our dad was known to have many characteristics. He was brave, lovable, smart, a jokester (goofy), prideful, and a giving man. Everyone who knew him, knew he had such a contagious and loud laugh that would make you laugh along with him.
Our dad will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
09/21/1977 - 11/20/2022
The González family would like to thank you for your prayers and support during this time.
