Bridget Laree
Herrera
Aug 9, 1973 — Feb 23, 2022
On February 23rd, 2022, with family at her bedside, Bridget LaRee Herrera passed away after 33 days of a hard-fought battle against the Corona Virus at Tucson Medical Center.
Bridget's life began on August 9th, 1973, in Yuma Arizona to her parents Edith and Arthur. Bridget was born with a heart geared towards others and spent her life in dedication to spreading love. Her career choices reflected her servant heart as she worked many years as a daycare teacher. In her free-time, Bridget would spread love through feeding the homeless, taking in stray animals to the humane-society or her own home, spreading Autism awareness, and in the later part of her life spreading awareness for Addison's disease. Bridget had a heart of gold, willing to help all she met even at the expense of her own comfort.
Bridget's hobbies centered around her child-like creativity. Inspired by her imagination, Bridget often made everything she could by hand. From Pinatas, to house-hold decorations, and crafts for the kids she cared for. She was determined and hard working every day of her life.
Bridget is survived by her Spouse: Ray Vasquez. Her Children: Rendy Koleber (Michael), Alize Vasquez, Elijah Montiel, and Sophia Montiel. Her Grandchildren: Isaiah Koleber, Alaina Koleber, and Josiah Koleber. Her Parents: Edith Lewis (Biological Mother) and Lorraine Herrera (Stepmother). Her Siblings: Nicholas Camacho (Claudia), Summer Gill (Andrew) and, AJ Herrera (Kresten). Her Nieces and Nephews, Jacob Camacho, Lorelei Camacho, Olivia Camacho, Alexa Camacho, Mia Herrera, Arthur Herrera Jr, Arianna Gill, Alexandra Gill, Rhylee Gill, and Andrew Gill Jr.
Bridget is preceded in death by her father, Arthur Jesus Herrera.
