It is with great sadness that the family of Alberto Lee Guerra, age 39, announces his passing on Tuesday, June 22 ^nd , 2021. Alberto was born in Anchorage, Alaska on July 10 ^th , 1981. Coming from a military family and moving around, he has seen and lived in Hawaii, North Carolina, and Japan. He moved to Yuma when he was 18 years old with his mother and half-brother. Alberto, ''Albert'', owned his pool business for seven years and also worked in restaurants as a server which he enjoyed. He loved the Lord and his family deeply. He selflessly served people when in need or if they needed help in anyway. He would put other before himself. His hobbies included football, and collecting football cards, hiking, and collecting neat and interesting rocks. But his passion was cooking for others. He always thought of ways to make delicious food or make a meal better. Albert had a way with food and was known for making great food. He had a good sense of humor and was funny. He would always make people laugh.

He is preceded in death by his father, Leopoldo Alberto Guerra.

He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Guerra and his three sons, Caleb, Azariah, and Kai Guerra. His half-brothers, Alonzo Loroña and Antonio Bottum and his wife Carolanne Bottum and his mother, Denali Perez.

The funeral service will be held at Desert Valley Mortuary from 12PM-2PM on July 7 ^th , 2021.
